$1,500,000 is needed to establish Organic Dairy Farm on University farmland in Lee, N.H. Several new buildings and facilities must be built to complement or replace the existing ones.

- Construct a pack barn for organic-only cows
Short Term

- Construct a building for feed processing equipment and feed storage
- Build a three-sided shed for hay, bedding, and equipment storage
- Renovate an existing barn for organic-only maternity and baby calves
- Purchase mower, baler, bale wrapper, rotary hoe, row cultivator, grain combine
- Purchase grain storage equipment
- Purchase a skid steer and tractor
- Hire building and equipment labor and management
- Seed organic-certified fields to grass and legumes
- Install perimeter fencing, cow lanes, and water lines
- Install a tombstone fence, mangers, and feeding system
Long Term
Long-Term Goal to construct an Educational Center as a Regional Facility for visiting farmers, scientists, students and business partners with classrooms, dormitory rooms, meeting rooms and Visitor’s Center.
